Bees are Dying – This isn’t a Joke or Hoax, it is Very Serious

40% of honeybee colonies died in the past year according to a recent USDA report and that doesn’t include all the deaths prior to that time.  The culprit appears to be a neuro-toxic pesticide marketed by Bayer.  It affects the central nervous system that impairs the bee’s mobility, navigation, feeding, foraging, memory, and learning.  Bees go foraging and never return, very unusual.   When the European Union was presented with this evidence, they immediately suspended the use of the most widely used neonicotinoids.

What’s The Real Story on Nut Milk

Is nut milk healthier for you?  That really depends on what is in the nut milk.  

Most commercially produced nut milks (cashew, almond) have very little nuts in them.  In fact, lawsuits have been filed in the past due to the miniscual amount of nuts (> 3%).  Further, many nut milks have additives so the “nut milk” looks and tastes like the cow version.  So what else is in the nut milk?

Benefits of Rosemary (Brain Function)

In folk medicine, rosemary has been associated for centuries with having a good memory.  Rosemary is a Perennial herb with evergreen, needle-like leaves and white, pink, purple or blue flowers.  Its name is derived from Latin “dew of the sea”.  It is Mediterranean in origin, but the plant is  hardy in colder climates and is used in cooking as well.

Researchers from Northumbria University in the United Kingdom found that,8-cineole, a main chemical in rosemary oil is linked with brain performance.
