Homemade Facial Masks Class Recipes




Honey & Wine Mask
(Increases radiance and vitality of skin. Chia sees have high levels of vital nutrients, omega-3 fatty acids, proteins, and antioxidants, the red wine has exceptional levels of antioxidants and the alcohol tightens and clarifies pores while the honey hydrates and increases circulation)
1 tsp raw honey
1 ¼ tsp red wine
½ tsp ground chia seeds

Stir together raw honey & wine, add the chia sees a little at a time stirring with a fork to moisten all of the powder until you reach desired consistency. Use immediately. Spread thick layer on clean skin. Leave on for 10-25 minutes and rinse off with warm water.

Radiant Orange Mask
(Rich in vitamin C this encourages collagen production and improves elasticity of the skin, while agave is a natural antibacterial and humectant. Works to unclog pores and improve circulation for radiant skin tone….can also help lighten sunspots and acne scars)
1 tsp almond meal
1 tsp dried orange peel powder
1 tsp raw agave nectar
1 ½ tsp yogurt

Place almond meal and orange peel powder in a bowl…add agave nectar and yogurt ..stir to blend well. This mask is best fresh but you can store in a closed container in the fridge for up to 5 days. Spread a thick layer of the mask on clean skin. Leave on for 10-15 minutes and rinse off with warm water.
Orange peel powder – peel an orange, cut into smaller chunks and leave to air dry 24 hours or until completely dry. Grind into a powder (nutra-bullet, coffee grinder). Almond meal – roast almonds, when cooled grind to a powder.

Yerba Flax (oil free) Mask

1 cup of light yerba brew

¼ cup flaxseeds

2 drops chamomile/ 2 drops rose essential oil

Place yerba and flaxseeds together in a pot on the stove.  Over Med-High heat whisk mixture until thickens (once it begins to boil), turn down the heat to low and stir until the seeds float not sink. Remove from heat and strain, let cool and then add essential oil.  This is best used fresh but will keep in an airtight container in the fridge for a week.  To use:  spread a medium thick layer onto clean skin, leave on for 10-15 minutes and rinse with warm water.
